About J & S

J & S Flooring was established in 1991 by William Pierce in the coastal town of Georgetown, South Carolina.

Mr. Pierce opened this store with the knowledge of 40 years experience in retail flooring. Seeking retirement in 1994, Mr. Pierce struck a deal with his nephew Gregg Pierce of Charleston, SC and J & S Flooring manager Dewey Sisk to purchase the business. The two new partners took ownership in April, 1994, and shortly thereafter, incorporated.

Gregg and Dewey used there 50 years of combined experience in flooring to develop rapid growth in the local market. By providing a complete line of hard and soft surface flooring, combined with superior service, J & S Flooring has grown to become the premier flooring dealer in the Georgetown area. Dewey Sisk retired in 2006, and Gregg Pierce continues the heritage of knowledge, superior service and the growth of J & S Flooring.

Our goal at J & S Flooring is and always has been to provide first quality name brand products, along with exceptional service at affordable prices. We keep a large selection of merchandise in stock for the convenience of cash and carry shopping as well a full sample showroom for special order items.

New Stanton Line

We just took on the Stanton line of carpet. Stanton is one of the nicest patterned sisal lines we have seen, featuring wools, synthetics, and indoor/ outdoor sisal and seagrass designs. We’re excited about this new addition to our product line. Stop in and take a look, you won’t be disappointed.
